Welcome to Galloway Cobs, the homesite for Awhirk Farm Horse Breeders. Quality Gypsy Cobs, Shire and Dray horses.

We are a Scottish farming family who delight in breeding and rearing horses on our Farm here in the Rhins of Galloway. With acres of rolling meadows and fields, our horses have plenty of room to exercise, relax and breed.

People ask us how we got into horse-breeding. It was, to us, a natural development.
As farmers, our family was for generations dedicated to breeding cattle and sheep until our love of horses, especially Gypsy Cobs, took over and now we breed them full time!
We take a great pride in breeding our horses, assisting at the birth and then watching our Foals grow, ready for sale to other horse-lovers!

All of our Cobs are fully vaccinated, regularly checked by a Vet, raised in a proper manner and allowed to exercise daily. To put it mildly; We Love Horses!

We reserve the right to refuse a sale. Our horses are not only valuable financially, they are respected and loved. We will sell only to Bona Fide breeders and horse lovers. All horses have a traceable bloodline.
